  David and Abigail had many children settling in N.Y., N.J.,Mich., Conn . , Ohio, Ill., Iowa, Col., Ca., Mass.,One of his sons, Nathaniel, marri e d Prudence Wood, a descendent of Jonas Wood, who came to America on th e M ayflower in 1630. Many of his descendents graduated from Yale Univ. , wit h degrees in Law or business. In this branch of the family there wa s als o a strong tendancy for the males to become ministers.
